10. The 'scum of the earth'! With Mike Sares

What happens to those who want to go to church but are outside the mainstream: the misfits, the creative types, the outsiders, the right brained and the left behind? The people who want to follow Jesus but somehow don’t fit? Well my guest today knows and loves those kinds of people. His name is Mike Sares, and for many years Mike held down decent respectable jobs in decent respectable churches, that is until God called him to do something very different, God called him to go and pastor the people who weren’t quite so respectable, who didn’t fit, God called Mike to love them, to make church accessible for them, and to make Jesus known to them.
